Oh, before you vote, a word about the prize. Let it be know that this is a winner-take-all contest for one sweet prize: a minty 1978 Proctor & Gamble Star Wars poster depicting the epic clash of Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Thanks everyone and may the best pic win!
Good show!
Is repeat voting encouraged?
Yes. Definitely. Chicago style all the way.
Nice crop, right?
It is and I will.
Well it certainly did go Chicago style all the way.
I’ll be completely transparent. For the first outting of the competition I thought it was important to generate as much awareness as possible. Repeat voting may or may not have helped that, but it was my hope that it would help. Next year we’ll go with a more traditional polling system of one vote per person (well, actually per IP address). Thanks for participating… maybe next year a submission?
Some guys must be suffering RSI right now by mouse clicking too many times the last two weeks. π
It was fun to join, Pete, every initiative involving photography and vintage figures is just great.
Congrats to the winner!
Glad you enjoyed it Doc! I had a blast as well. Here’s to 2013!
How about another competition just for one of those rather childish t-shirts?
You have excellent taste sΓ©nor. π
T-minus 11 months and counting….
Thanks for organising the comp Pete, a good show and congrats to the winner. Great to see all those vintage toys in the photos.
Can’t wait that long, deadline for submissions was so quick. Got some great ideas, how about bi yearly!
I’ll definitely consider it. I’m not as active with my own posts these days so the outside contributions is convenient. π
